Detergent driven boat
This demo is related to physics and it is based on surface
tension. The boat made out of a cardboard, moves forward when dish wash liquid
is touched to water. The liquid soap lowers the surface tension of water and
makes the boat to move forward.
Colour changing chemical
This is chemistry based experiment in which i showed how a lemon juice that is a citric acid turns colour of potassium permanganate solution from purple to colourless. Its a redox reaction.
Floating and sinking lemon
This experiment is related to biology and it is about lemons peel which acts as a protective shield for lemon , so that its inner part is protected from all the dust and weather from outside.So the lemon with peel floats and lemon without peel sinks when put in the water.
